September, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month really showed us the love and support we have in our community. We’re thrilled to welcome our new community partner, Thursday Night Motocross. This was the first fundraising event they have held to benefit Candlelighters, and they went all out! They raised over $14,000 for Candlelighters last month from ticket sales, raffles, shirts and hats with our logos on them, and hundreds of fantastic silent auction items they collected all month. Plus, they invited our families to the stands and fed us lots of pizza. What a welcome from Thursday Night Motocross! We’re part of the #motocross family now.
Their 2022 Fall season is complete, but make sure you follow them on social media for news of their 2023 race season. It’s a super fun family activity, that comes with a warning: your kiddos may beg for dirt bikes after seeing all the action!
