Stand Together Tee Shirt Fundraiser is Here!
We’re in year 4 of doing a tee shirt fundraiser for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! We started the tee shirt fundraiser during COVID, as a way to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer families. Each year, we choose a theme that speaks to the strength and hope found in a community of families facing childhood cancer alongside one another. This year’s theme of standing together against childhood cancer reminds us that fear is no match for the strength and love of Candlelighters families standing together, supporting one another through the journey of childhood cancer. We are in this together, hand in hand, for the long haul.
With these shirts, you can wear your support and spread the word about Candlelighters so more families can get the support they need. Tee shirts, hoodies and crew neck sweatshirts are available in adult and youth sizes, and in multiple colors. Orders can take a few weeks to arrive, so place your soon to wear in September, childhood cancer awareness month.
Best of all, 100% of funds raised from Stand Together shirts go toward Candlelighters Programs that
connect and
assist local families facing childhood cancer.
Candlelighters For Children With Cancer was founded in 1977 by five families who had one thing in common: a child impacted by cancer.
At the time, there were no organizations to connect and support families going through this journey. Now, 45 years later, local families have come to depend on Candlelighters.
With the help of emergency financial assistance, regular family activities, in-hospital programs, and an annual family camp, we ensure that families have the resources and connections they need to navigate childhood cancer together.
Today, the organization has supported nearly 100,000 family members through the crisis of childhood cancer.
Candlelighters For Children With Cancer provides support every step of the way for families in Oregon and SW Washington facing childhood cancer.
From diagnosis through treatment and beyond, we offer programs such as emergency financial assistance, an annual family camp, regular family activities, bereavement support, and in-hospital meals.
Our programs are always free to Candlelighters families.
