March Parent & Caregiver Support Group
Parent Caregiver Support Group

The Parent & Caregiver Support Group meets the first Wednesday of each month over Zoom. This is a chance to meet other parents and caregivers of children with cancer so that you can share your thoughts, stories, and concerns relating to childhood cancer. The group covers topics and questions around physical and emotional well-being of the child and caregivers.

If there’s a specific topic you would like to address, please send it ahead of time to Lisa. The group is moderated by Dr. Marianne Kabour, a PhD who works specifically with childhood cancer patients and survivors at Randall Children’s Hospital. All parents and caregivers are welcome to join the group and the discussion at any date. If you are in Oregon or SW Washington, Candlelighters is here to serve your family. Wednesday, March 1, at 6:45 p.m. via Zoom

RSVP here for the upcoming Parent & Caregiver Support Group.

Candlelighters was started in 1977 from a desire to connect families. Now, 45 years later, that passion is still at the heart of what we do and how we serve.

Our vision for fostering transformational, lifelong relationships begins with supporting the entire family as they face childhood cancer together—from diagnosis through treatment and beyond—and embracing them into a community that understands what they’re going through.

No matter where you are in your journey, we are here for and with you.
